Creative Direction
A combination of visually appealing designs, dedication and a determined approach to the creative process has helped me to deliver a number of complex, high-profile projects, helping to establish many companies as market leaders in their field while adhering to existing brand guidelines, or developing new ones.
UX Approach
Before firing up my laptop in anger and starting a project, I like to lay the foundations for the task at hand and establish the conceptual approach and UX strategy. This includes researching and understanding the perceived failures of existing user journeys and identifying the problems and challenges that need to be addressed. Creating, evaluating and iterating deliverables such as personas, user flows, user cases and scenarios is key to the delivery of any project and the reasoning behind it. Employing such deliverables can help a designer create effective sketches and wireframes to communicate an approach to key stakeholders before work on the design begins in earnest, saving valuable time and effort.
